Our Story
From 1962 to Today
In 1962, Robert Jackson "Jack" Belcher Jr. and Ann Belcher opened the doors of Belcher Agency with one goal, to give Montgomery families and businesses an insurance advisor who truly puts them first. From the start, they set out to be a small town agency that stood up for the everyday person. That founding mission shaped everything the agency would become.
Today, Auby Belcher carries on the family legacy, leading the agency since 1997 with over 40 years of hands-on experience. Working alongside him is Wanda Kasten, a licensed agent since 1989 who takes pride in serving her community. Together, they keep the same promise Jack and Ann made — honest guidance, personal service, and coverage that always puts you first.

Auby Belcher, President
Auby has been the president of Belcher Agency since 1997 and has been in the insurance industry for 40 years.
Auby has three children and six grandchildren. He likes to play golf when he can and is an avid Alabama football fan
Wanda Kasten, Agent
Wanda has worked for the Belcher Agency since 1989 and became a licensed agent in 1993.
Wanda has three children and three grandsons. Wanda likes to read and spend time with her family.
